Deer season recap

Had a fun season, but relatively unproductive rut. I was lucky enough to harvest a healthy doe to fill the freezer, but hung my buck tag on the tree. With a new home and renos my time was slightly limited but regardless it was a weird fall. I saw minimal big buck activity throughout November, on properties that are usually crawling with daytime bucks. I actually had one shooter buck show in daykight the entire month of November, between 4 stands!
I still had fun and saw deer, and spent some time with my wife in the blind during the late season, but no luck for either of us!
