About Tom
Living in this amazing location in Northwestern Ontario, Tom has the opportunity to take part in a multitude of angling and hunting pursuits. With a passion for many outdoor activities, Tom spends nearly his entire year focused on some sort of hunting or fishing adventure.
Come spring, Tom spends his time on the North Shore of Lake Superior, fishing for steelhead, and gets away for a week each spring to chase Ontario Wild Turkeys. Spring bears also finds its way onto Tom's spring agenda.
As spring progresses, Tom gets out on the water chasing Brook trout, lake trout, bass, walleye and Lake Superior salmon through the summer, and chasing salmon and trout again in the rivers come fall.
Throughout the year Tom is working on scouting and working on hunting properties, and as summer turns to fall, Tom gets totally consumed with hunting season. Beginning with archery hunting for moose, bear and deer in the early fall, then chasing moose and deer throughout the rest of the fall, and some years trying to find time to chase fall turkeys, in Ontario and Wisconsin.
Tom also has a love for Western hunting, and has made several journeys west to Wyoming to hunt Pronghorn Antelope, and is currently collecting preference points, and planning for an upcoming DIY hunt for pronghorn and mule deer in the coming years.
Once winter comes, Tom spends a great deal of time on the ice, chasing lake trout, walleye, perch, whitefish, and brookies all winter long.
Tom spends a great deal of time afield with his wife Corine, who is equally passionate about the outdoors. Tom and Corine have added to the family, and now have two sweet little girls(6 and 3), who spend a great deal of time outdoors as well, tagging along on a variety of outdoor adventures. My oldest has been to moose camp several times, bear hunting in corn fields, walking for grouse, and also spent plenty of time in the boat and on the ice. Tom spends the time he's not working, hunting or fishing, with his wife, little girls and their two labrador retrievers.
