About Tom
Living in Northwestern Ontario, Tom spends much of the year hunting and fishing across the lakes, rivers, and backcountry of Northwestern Ontario, and beyond. From spring steelhead along Lake Superior’s North Shore, turkey's in Southern Ontario and Wisconsin, to summer days chasing trout and walleye, to long falls consumed by moose, bear, grouse and deer seasons—being outdoors isn’t just a hobby, it’s a way of life.
He’s also drawn west, making several trips to Wyoming in pursuit of pronghorn, with future DIY hunts for mule deer and antelope already in the works.
But more than anything, the outdoors has become a place to share with family.
Tom spends as much time as possible afield with his wife Corine, and now with their two young daughters, who are growing up immersed in it all. Whether it’s tagging along at moose camp, spending Spring in the turkey blind, sitting in a bear stand, walking bush trails for grouse, or spending time in the boat or on the ice, they’re already building their own connection to the outdoors. Those moments—watching it all through their eyes—have become the most meaningful part of the experience.
When he’s not working, Tom can usually be found somewhere outside with his family and their Labrador, making the most of every season.
