Now this is a bit of a different angling trip for me, but recently my wife and I escaped winter, and flew to Mexico for a week, and I got out spear fishing for a day, what an incredible experience!!!

Had a blast snorkeling; around coral reefs, a sunken ship, and along rocky shorelines, saw thousands of fish and we ended up with some great fish at the end of the day.

spent a beautiful day out lake trout fishing today.  Started off pretty crisp, was -34C with the wind chill, but ended up being a gorgeous day, little wind and sunny and beautiful!  Had a great day out with friends and got some nice fish!

A friend and I have just booked a Pronghorm Antelope hunt in Wyoming this October. Pretty excited, first time for an antelope or any kind of western hunt!

Spent the day today with some friends and family lake trout fishing. It was a cool day, about -20 and a rather wicked wind, but the fish were cooperative.

I got most of my fish suspended 20 or 30 feet off bottom, and coaxed a couple using my Humminbird Ice 55.

We did well jigging and on set lines today with the biggest fish probably over 10 pounds
