Upgraded the optics on my 270 WSM, to start getting into the long range game. Put the Vortex Strike Eagle 4-18x44 on it, and love it! Played around in a cut out to 300 testing things out, and shot a couple does during the moose hunt. Looking forward to stretching it out this winter! Should be the ultimate long range whitetail and Wyoming Antelope rig!

This fall was a bit of a dofferent fall for me, with the addition of a baby girl to our family late September! I was lucky enough to get to moose camp in october, and have mama and baby join me for the week!
We had a great week, with my dad filling our cow tag opening day. We spent the rest of the week relaxing, exploring, hunting deer and grouse. We weren't hunting in great whitetail country, but found a pocket of deer, and i managed to fill 2 additional antlerless tags. Great week with friends & family! In early September Corine and I went out for an early archery deer hunt......to find my primo deer spot was invaded by bears. We sat a few times, and saw several bears, including one 5 steps from the ground blind! She ended up harvesting a beauty with the crossbow, made a beaut shot with the Tenpoint, and smoked him with a 2 blade Rage, didnt make it 30 yards.
all thus 2 weeka before our baby's due! Did a trip to one of my fave summer desinations, Kashabowie River Resort on Shebandowan, an amazing walleye and smallmouth fishery, and as always had a ton of fun and caught lots of fish!
Had a friend in town to try and get a spring bear. Had alot of fun, and saw a few bears, just not the right one. Explored some fields and sat on a bait site, and saw bears doing both, including a pair of colour phase yearlings! Still a ton of fun!
Fishing the Nipigon system is one of my favourite places to be, and it rarely dissapoints. While we had to work for them, we got a couple beauties!
Did a couple late spring trips for walleye in early June. Had alot of fun and caught some beauties trolling crankbaits.
Headed south for my annual spring turkey hunt, hunting with family. Had a great trip, saw alot of birds, explored some new country and was fortunate enough to fill my 2 tags, as was my dad. And got some trout fishing in as well!
